As of 2012, he has also been featured as hip-hop legend LL Cool J’s touring DJ in shows that have been described as so exemplary that the “crowd can barely handle the greatness.”

<fb:like href='http://www.djphilippo.com/just-great/aztec-spor.html' send='false' layout='standard' show_faces='true' width='450' height='65' action='recommend' colorscheme='light' font='lucida+grande'></fb:like>

Jon Gooch, more commonly known by his stage names Spor and Feed Me, is a drum & bass, electro house and dubstep producer and DJ from Hertfordshire, England.

Spor obtained his name from one of the first set of samples he collected, entitled ‘Spore Tactics’, and a favorite piece of artwork by a friend, Karl Kwasny[citation needed]. However, he soon dropped the “e” from the word to balance the arrangement of letters when displayed in a graffiti style[citation needed]. After a school friend introduced Jon to the world of Drum & Bass he began experimenting with software to create his own music.

Spor attracted the attention of Renegade Hardware’s label manager (at the time) Chris Renegade, and secured a deal with the label. Much of his work was released through this label, and soon Jon began DJing sets. He has also released work under the name ‘Final Reckoning’ with Codex, as well as under the name ‘Unicron’. After a successful partnership with Renegade Hardware and Barcode Recordings, and releases with Teebee’s Subtitles Recordings, in 2006, Spor and long-term friend Chris Renegade launched Lifted Music and signed music from producers such as Apex, Evol Intent and Ewun & Phace.

On February 24, 2010, Spor released his second double EP, Conquerors and Commoners on the Lifted Music label. In an interview with K Magazine, he said the title was inspired by a quote by Harlan Ellison. The album was well received by drum & bass fans, with two of the tracks from the album (“Halogen” and “Kingdom”) being played on Andy C’s popular Nightlife 5 mix CD. Spor has since then been traversing the globe playing his music at clubs across the world under the Lifted Music guise.

Spor’s electro house side project, Feed Me, has also been rather successful. A two track EP has been released under Deadmau5′s label, mau5trap, along with a track on Noisia’s label as well. He released a second EP under mau5trap on December 25, 2010, titled ‘Feed Me’s Big Adventure’. It features eight new tracks including both electro house and dubstep. His third EP of four tracks is called ‘To the Stars’ has been available to the public since June 3, 2011. He released another EP titled ‘Feed Me’s Escape From Electric Mountain’ on February 6, 2012. It features 6 new tracks, with vocals from Hadouken! and Lindsay.

Jon was also involved in a second side project called ‘Seventh Stitch’, which produced alternative IDM. He worked with another artist called Aker.

He has said he would like to release his debut album in August, 2012.

Robert Smit (Sick Boy) is a Dutch music producer. Mixing his punk, rock, house and hardcore roots in sometimes Crushing, sometimes Melodic, but always very Danceable tracks is what Sick Boy does best. As he always has he looks to the Future but doesn’t forget about his Roots and makes sure that others won’t forget either. This creates a force to be reckoned with, A sound that will surprise you and will keep you in trance for as long as you ll hear him spin, making sure he keeps surprising himself so he doesn’t get burned and will defanetly keep the audience on their toes.

Sick Boy established himself as the founder of Poptrash, An Indie/electro party that started out as a weekly in Amsterdam’s infamous Melkweg party but soon turned Nationwide with parties all over the Country booking artists like Mstrkrft, Steve Aoki, Guns n bombs, Goose, DIM and many many others known for bringing the best in an ever growing Scene of people who wanted to hear something else then your average top 100 artist. As one of the frontrunners of Electro in Holland his name got over the map and after years of playing in Bands he decided to go for it alone under the Sick Boy name, given by Moving Units frontman Blake Miller. As soon as he started he got signed by Dutch Blacklabel to release his first EP, soon followed by his second EP released on NYC label Kinetika. Soon his Eps were followed by remixes for Motor, Dirty Disco youth, Stereoheroes, La tourette Modek and lots of others on labels like Dim mak, Crux, Kiez Beats, Loliland records and others. In the Meantime Sick Boy has been playing the biggest festivals in Holland (Dance Valley, DanceValley) and all over the world From the States (Los angeles, San fransisco, New York to Austin’s SXSW), Spain (Low Club, Razzmatazz), Germany (Villa/Berlin) France (Sous le pont) to Countries like Finland, Belgium and other places sharing the Stage with the biggest of them all like Justice, Steve Aoki, Sinden, Les Petit pilous, Boysnoize, Mstrkrft, , Congorock and lots of others.

2010 was a huge year for him. Sick Boy released Hysteria on Kinetika with remixes by amongst others Motor, He released Energy Blast on Kiez Beats with remixes by Tom deluxx, Jasko of gooseflesh and other with overwhelmingy Positive reviews. Soon out are Boom (with remixes by amongs others Doc Trashz of “one of these days” fame, Kick oh, Shaved Monkeys and later this Year Bang your head will follow with remixes by Dirty Disco Youth, Per qx and Clockwork. Out now is “Delerium”, his collab with NT89 which is supported by Atrak, Crookers, Steve Aoki, Shinichi Osawa, Bloody Beetroots and others is out now on Discobelle. His new Motor edit is now available on DIMMAKS RCRDLBL page and was number one in the fav list of Motor tracks. Not so Bad after having one of the most downloaded Justice remixes in 2007 for their track D.A.N.C.E (Blake miller vs Sick boy remix).

Travis Landon Barker (born November 14, 1975) is an American musician, producer and entrepreneur, most noted as the drummer for the American pop punk band Blink-182, as well as the alternative rock band +44, the rap rock band The Transplants, and the alternative rock band Box Car Racer. He was a frequent collaborator with the late DJ AM, and together they formed TRV$DJAM. He also went on tour with Quest in 2007, and made 3 albums with the group: KSLIP, Why not?, and their most recent, Genius.

After the split of his first band, Feeble, Barker began playing for The Aquabats in 1996 as The Baron Von Tito. He recorded one album with them, The Fury of The Aquabats!, in 1997. His career took off when he joined up with pop punk band Blink-182 in 1998. Barker has since established himself as a versatile drummer, producing and making guest appearances in music projects of numerous music genres including hip hop, alternative rock, pop and country. He has gained significant acceptance within the hip-hop community in particular and often collaborates with artists to compose rock-tinged remixes to their songs.

Korn dubstepping their way into New York City and playing to a capacity crowd at Roseland Ballroom. Now, you can watch a video of Korn playing one of their newest songs, ‘Way Too Far,’ from their New York show exclusively on Loudwire.

As Korn began to show the world their new direction with dubstep-inspired nu-metal, the band decided to bring a different type of live experience with them on tour. The opening slots for Korn were entirely filled by DJs instead of bands.

The crowd at Roseland was incredibly rowdy as Korn’s equipment was being set up – with puffs of smoke filling the venue and enough drinks being poured to rival a tailgating session before a Slayer show. Once Korn took the stage, however, they held the crowd in the palms of their hands, casting an almost hypnotic possession over the crowd.

Inimitable Dutch production trio Noisia are teaming up with mau5trap, the burgeoning label led by EDM’s crowned prince Deadmau5, to release new single ‘Tommy’s Theme’ on 24th October 2011 with an exlusive on Beatport becoming available. Long-standing supporters of each other’s work, this will be the first time that they join forces since Noisia remixed Mau5′s track ‘Raise Your Weapon’ to such devastating effect.

In trademark style, ‘Tommy’s Theme’ is a morphing many-headed dubstep beast that reinforces their revered reputation at the forefront of electronic music. Opening with a cinematic landscape built from lush strings, soft choral voices and stumbling rhythmic rubble, the song is swept up in orchestral grandeur before being turned on its head. As the drums thunder home, deadly bass swipes swing through the track destroying everything in their path and elastic synths mutate through the ever-shifting sonic minefield.

Over the last seven years Noisia have released on pretty much every influential drum ‘n’ bass label out there, remixed the likes of Moby, The Prodigy and Katy Perry plus set up a number of their own labels in order to release a vast and varying catalogue. The trio have received countless plaudits over the years for their work in dance music; ‘Best Tech DJ’ in the UK National D&B Awards, ‘Best Producers’ at the D&B Arena Awards and ‘Best Drum & Bass Artist’ on Beatport.
In 2010 Noisia released their debut album ‘Split The Atom’ to huge critical acclaim. Since then they’ve hardly stopped; the trio have signed to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation publishing company, delivered remixes for the likes of Labrinth ft Tinie Tempah (which has received over 100,000 soundcloud hits in five days) and Skrillex, developed new videogame soundtracks plus continued to produce for a number of major label artists. Noisia and the mau5trap family are all hugely excited about what the next three months have in store. WATCH THIS SPACE.

Excision is the alias of Jeff Abel, a dubstep DJ and music boss from British Columbia, Canada. He frequently works with fellow Canadian dubstep producers Datsik and Downlink. As one of the first dubstep producers and DJs in North America, he has played a significant role in the genre’s growth in popularity, and also the development of a more aggressive approach to dubstep production. His first release was in 2007.

The Canadian Excision now balance his album X Rated on the label Mau5trap (of fellow DeadMau5), a dubstep album but not as strongly ! Influences enrich this album, sexism aside a total industrial, Sleepless tend almost to the liquid, 8-SuperHero bit like its name suggests is a mix 8-bit and dubstep, Brief many influences on these very diverse 10 tracks.
A lot of collaborations on this cake, firstly Datsik but that’s absolutely no surprise, Messinian on the track X Rated, Savvy, Downlink or Skism.

The Bloody Beetroots is an Italian electronica and dance music project. The Bloody Beetroots were formed in late 2006 by producer Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo.

In 2008, their EP Cornelius was in the Top 100 International iTunes downloads. This album was a complete art project composed of music, videos, and fashion. A collaboration with French label Sixpack France was done to release a limited edition t-shirt. The duo wear black Venom masks while performing. The duo had a short tour of the United States in early 2008, alongside DJ Steve Aoki. In 2008, their song “Butter” was included on the soundtrack for FIFA 09, “Mac Mac” was featured in 2K Sports’ NBA 2K9 and their remix of “Black Gloves” by Goose is part of the soundtrack of Pro Evolution Soccer 2012. During their 2010 Live Tour they labeled themselves “The Bloody Beetroots – Death Crew 77″ and introduced a third member to their team, Edward Grinch, who plays the drums during the live shows. Recently Edward Grinch was replaced by another drummer, Jacopo Battaglia (a.k.a. BATTLE). On the Church of Noise tour, vocalist Dennis Lyxzén of the punk band Refused joined Death Crew 77 on a few songs.
